✨ Tips for Proper Maintenance
FIRST TIME USE:
- New leather may feel stiff: this is normal and will soften with use.
- Avoid excessively bending the belt in the first few weeks
- Let the leather adapt naturally to your body shape
DAILY USE:
- Alternate use with other belts to prolong life
- Remove your seat belt before sitting for long periods
- Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes and chemicals
- Small imperfections and color variations are natural characteristics of leather.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE:
- Every 3-6 months, apply a nourishing leather balm or cream
- Gently massage the product with circular movements
- Let it absorb for 15-20 minutes, then remove the excess with a clean cloth.
- This process keeps the leather soft and prevents cracks.
IF IT GETS WET:
- Dry immediately with an absorbent cloth
- Let it dry naturally at room temperature
- Do not use direct heat sources (radiators, hair dryers)
- Once dry, apply a nourishing product
Remember: leather is a living material that ages with you. The patina that develops over time is the hallmark of an authentic artisanal product.
